"Yeah. I mean, yes." It's clear he's nervous. He hates making reports, especially about this. But hey, at least he didn't make Vector hunt him down like last time? ...yay?

"If he's busy I could, you know, come back later." Have a hopeful look, Acolyte.

The Acolyte shakes its head. If Drift was searching for an excuse, then it seems to have gone right over its hooded head.

"He is expecting you. Would you please follow me?"

"Oh, great. That's...that's great news." If by 'great', you mean horrible.

"I, uh, I can call Wing, too, if he wants?" Cybertronian human shield? Never!!

It's like you're nervous or something, Drift. Whyever would that be?

The Acolyte pauses a moment, seeming to think - something that doesn't come overly naturally to it - before turning back to Drift. "Would he assist?"

Because it's Vector, who has been fair with him so far, but...kind of scary nonetheless. "There are things that happened in the cave that only Wing would know about, yes."

He's not trying to throw Wing under the bus, really. But he would feel better if the jet were here.

"Then it would be good for him to attend as well," is the simple answer. "Vector Prime would like as detailed a report as can be managed. Is he able to come with us now, or should I inform Vector Prime that this meeting will be delayed?"

"Right. I'll just call him. He can get here, uh, probably pretty fast." The last thing Drift wants to do is postpone this and have to deal with the whole jittery waiting room fandango thing again.

He tilts his helm to one side, activating a locked comm to Wing. Something along the lines of 'help?'

It doesn't matter what Wing is doing at the time, this is a priority over all else. He takes a moment to reassure Drift and get an idea of the temperature of the current conversation before jetting over there.

He's there within minutes, greeting both his love and the acolyte. " You needed me?"

Wing receives about the same welcome as Drift; the 'recognition' is there, and the Acolyte nods once.

"Both of you will speak with him, then?" it questions.

Drift nods at the Acolyte. He is so glad to see Wing, but then again, he feels like he's throwing the jet under the bus, at the same time. But still, Wing's diplomacy and tact might be, you know, useful.

"Uh, yeah. Vector wanted to talk to us about, you know, the thing. In the cave."
